最近自然而然有幾個朋友問我為什麼要遷移到外蒙古. 好問題. 基本上, 這個決定的因素如下:

1. 因為那兒只有兩群會眾(我是個聖經的傳道員) 因此, 應該還要相當的潛力

2. 我還年輕健康夠好, 沒有藉口不去

3. 我的經驗又個性使得我可以比較順利地適應那裡的文化語言地形氣候等.我希望.:)

4. 要滿足冒險精神, 否則年老時就會大感遺憾

so i am now streamlining everything in an effort to cut all ties (save communication and ordering systems) with the west. my eye is set upon the mongoliin tar/steppe, and my time for departure thereto is now four months in the offing. so: cancel vonage, arrange for my debit card to be sent here, finalize the sale of my vehicle, provide proof of expat/alien status so as to obviate penalty charges while cancelling t-mobile service, order necessary tools for studying mongolian. like a mongolian-chinese dictionary. the mongolian-english one costs about 60 pounds before shipping. i'll give the mongolian-chinese one a try first. books are hard to obtain/access there (ub)--ergo bought shakespeare's works and a wonderful tome for conceptual high-level mandarin. soon i will procure a merck manual. i also need to bolster the RAM on my 'pooter and run dreamlinux 2.2, give it a chang-changkan.
i have already informed my presiding overseer, my boss at work, the trade-relations office, and basically those who need to know. now i must arrange the details with the japanese branch.

today went to jilong/the seaside for to see.
rather interesting film presentation and subsequent tour explaining all of the forces responsible for sculpting that particular piece of peninsular sandstone and calcium into the mushroom planet which it currently resembles. and good times with friends.
